David Nevison, MBA, MSS
David M. Nevison holds a MSS in Social Planning from Bryn Mawr College's Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research and a MBA in Finance from Temple University. He has over thirty years experience in developing and administering aging programs in Philadelphia, which followed eight years of corporate experience in customer relations and management analysis.
Mr. Nevison presently is Associate Executive Director for Planning and Development at Philadelphia Corporation for Aging (PCA), the Area Agency on Aging for Philadelphia and a non-profit organization with an annual budget of $95,000,000. His responsibilities at PCA include: planning, marketing and development, communications and legislative affairs, research and evaluation, training and staff development for agency and subcontract staff, library operations and related information collection and dissemination.
A board member for six years and former Research Committee Chair of the American Society on Aging (the largest professional organization in the field of aging), Mr. Nevison co chaired the Program Committee for the 2005 Joint Conference of ASA and NCOA. He was a founding board member of Pennsylvania Care Management Institute, and also served on the organizing committee and board of the local affiliate of Little Brothers - Friends of the Elderly.
